On the way to RI Elanee had spotted a sign for the Norman Rockwell Museum so we decided to Google it when we go to Heathers. We did so and so on Monday morning when we left we drove directly there.
This is our proof that we went. Elanee is holding the camera. It took several tries to get all our fat heads in the shot. :)
As a kid, Normal Rockwell was my hero. Over the years however, I got bored with his work as it is everywhere and maybe a little played out for me. Well- I have to tell ya that my awe has been rekindled! The man was an AMAZING artist. Truly astonishing. Seeing his works in person really blows ya away. The girls and I are so glad we made the trip.
