P-P-P-P Peppers

So- the other day Maya, Saige and I picked all the peppers that remained in the garden.

On Sunday afternoon Elanee, Vayda and I washed and cup all of them. It took hours but we put about 24 quarts into the freezer for winter use. I actually stuffed and pickled all the tiny ones.

I was also canning boiled potatos at the same time. Got about 21 quarts of these done.

This is a smiley little pepper that Elanee came across. :)

Been there - done that, years ago.

But it is so satisfying.

Like in the book: In Defense of Food. This is what humans are supposed to eat.
