While I was in the hospital the second time Vayda was out for a walk after school. On her way home, a guy swerved his car and hit Vayda. Luckily only her hand and arm was struck. She landed in the ER in Ithaca (with me upstairs recovering) and had her arm braced. Shockingly, nothing was broken. Her hand was bruised for a long time and her pinky knuckle has seemingly disappeared. She still has some pain in her wrist but all in all shes fine. We are really grateful!
