Goat #3

Meet Simon.
Believe it or not, after all the craziness with the first two goats, a neighbor down the road offered me one of her goats.
And- Believe it or not, I jumped on that!
Simon is a handsome pygmy goat.
We got him home with no drama! As it should be.
We put him right in with Tofu and Jesse. Simon proceeded to knock the others around. He showed them who was boss. He also has shown them how to have an iota of dignity and come to corn and eat out of our hands....and apparently, how to stay in the fence.
Simon is our hero.

Here are Tofu and Jesse in the paddock. The following day they were all released to the big pasture behind electric. That's working out great so far. Right now they aren't even putting dent in the 1.5 acres if weeds and grass. I am working to expand the pasture to the full 4 acres. These guys really have it made. Everyone has calmed way down. Now they spend their days munching, sunning and playing on the rock pile. All is well in goat land.
